Doris Schmidauer is the First Lady of Austria and an advocate for female leadership and the education of girls and women. We are pleased to have her as a member of IWF Austria for many years. The Austrian Presidency acknowledges the successful work of IWF Austria over the past 10 years, particularly in promoting female leadership and supporting gender equality in the country. In recognition of this achievement, she will host a reception.
All those who have already registered at the registration desk at Hotel Bristol will meet in the Lobby of the hotel at 3:30 pm and will be accompanied as a group to the Imperial Palace. The reception will be held at 4:00 pm at the Office of the Federal President of the Republic of Austria that is located at the “Leopoldinischer Trakt” at Hofburg Palace. The entrance is at Ballhausplatz (1010 Vienna).

Austrian Federal Minister for Europe and IWF Member Karoline Edtstadler will be our guest of honor for this evening’s event in the Bristol Ball Room.
After a Welcome Cocktail, there will be a musical surprise for our guests.
